Women Initiative for Enterprenueral Leadership and Development - WIELD

In response to the staggering rates of unemployment among women, particularly widows, in impoverished communities, Beyond Nations has launched the Women Initiative for Entrepreneurial Leadership and Development Project (WIELD). This transformative initiative seeks to skillfully train women with entrepreneurial and leadership objectives, empowering them to sustain their lives and support their families.

At its core, the WIELD project is a beacon of hope for women facing economic hardships. Through a comprehensive vocational skills training program, participants are equipped with the knowledge and expertise needed to establish and manage their own businesses. From tailoring and craft-making to agricultural practices and small-scale entrepreneurship, the WIELD project covers a diverse range of skills tailored to the needs and interests of the participants.

The impact of the WIELD project extends beyond mere skill development. Recognizing the power of collective action, Beyond Nations encourages participants to come together as groups, fostering a sense of community and collaboration. Through regular group meetings and activities, participants are encouraged to pool their resources and make periodic savings, further enhancing their capacity to support their entrepreneurial endeavors. Beyond Nations intends to provide some of the skills as outlined below;

• Inventory Management and Supply Chain Operations
