A New Beginning for Prosy and Her Family
Nakakawa Prosy is a hardworking 40-year-old mother who has faced many challenges over the years. After separating from her husband, she found herself carrying the full responsibility of raising her family alone. With no steady income, it became difficult to meet even their basic needs, and three of her children were forced to stay home because she couldn’t afford their school fees. As a mother, watching them miss out on school was painful and discouraging.
When Beyond Nations learned about Prosy’s situation, things began to turn around. The organization stepped in and took on the school fees for three of her children, giving them the chance to return to class and continue their education. Beyond Nations also went a step further and offered Prosy a job, giving her a reliable income and the ability to better support her entire family.
Today, those three children are happily back in school, and Prosy is able to provide for her household with dignity and confidence. She often expresses her deep gratitude for the support she has received and for the hope it has brought back into her home.
Prosy’s journey is a powerful reminder that when a mother is strengthened, her whole family is lifted with her.
