Enid’s Journey - From Survival to Strength
Enid Kyarimpa’s world was shattered when her husband abandoned her with four young children, leaving them without a home or income. With no hope for her children’s education, Enid resorted to collecting scrap metal and plastics to survive. A kind stranger offered her shelter, but the future seemed bleak.
Beyond Nations intervened, enrolling two of Enid’s children in Pleroma Christian Schools, reigniting hope. Enid herself was empowered through Beyond Nations’ skills training program, learning to produce liquid soap.
Today, Enid proudly provides for her children’s basic needs, and her two enrolled children thrive in school. Though her liquid soap business is small, it brings joy and income. Enid’s life has transformed, and she now dreams of seeing her children graduate, a joy she never experienced due to her own limited education.
Enid’s story showcases the impact of compassion and empowerment. From the depths of despair to a life of purpose, Enid’s journey inspires hope. With continued support , Enid’s children will flourish, and her small business will grow, breaking cycles of poverty and illuminating a brighter future.
